You must collect more experience to level up. When you kill a monster, a gem will appear in its spot. You need to collect these gems. They get you closer to upgrading to the next level. You can also receive a chance to choose new skills. Prioritize movement speed upgrades early to improve your evasion capabilities against faster enemies. Collect gems immediately after clearing a small area to avoid losing experience points.
