Murder Mystery is a social deduction game. The game assigns you a role each round. You could be the Murderer, the Sheriff, or an Innocent. You must fulfill your role's objective. This means surviving, eliminating, or exposing the killer. The game supports multiplayer retention due to its short rounds.
Your main job is executing the unique mission assigned to you. The Murderer must secretly eliminate all other players without being caught. The Sheriff must identify the killer using logic and shoot them quickly. The Innocents must survive the round by hiding and using logical deduction.
You must rely on quick thinking and strategic misdirection to succeed. The Murderer must use stealth to avoid detection by the Sheriff or Innocents. Innocents must use logic to observe player behavior and expose suspicious activity. You need to ensure your survival or mission success.
As the Innocent, always watch the coin collector; they often make good witnesses. As the Sheriff, avoid revealing your role too early. This makes you the killer's first target. As the Murderer, never kill near a hiding spot unless you are sure the area is completely clear.
You must adapt immediately if the Sheriff is eliminated by the Murderer. If the Sheriff dies, their weapon drops instantly to the ground. Anyone can pick up the weapon and immediately take the Sheriff's place.
