How to play Super Mario Bros

Objective: reach the flagpole at the end of each level to win. Collect coins and destroy special bricks to reveal hidden items.

Items

Mario can transform into Super Mario when eating mushrooms. He will jump higher and fight enemies.

The Fire Flower turns Mario into Fire Mario. He can shoot fireballs to destroy enemies.

Starman: Makes Mario invincible for a short time.

Enemies

• Goomba: Simple enemy; just jump on top to destroy.
• Koopa Troopa: They have a hard shell; jump up to beat or kick the shell.
• Piranha Plant: They will bite Mario.
